Building the movie set for the TV show Creature Features in Sonoma County was an exhilarating project. The team aimed to evoke the nostalgia and thrill of classic horror cinema. They selected a versatile warehouse with enough space to accommodate various scenes, which would be crucial for the show’s dynamic storytelling.

Built a movie set in a 6000 sf warehouse for a show called Creature Features.  This latest version of “Creature Features” is hosted by actor/producer/entrepreneur Jeff Bodean in the gothic guise of Vincent Van Dahl. He is assisted by a pair of odd characters.

As construction progressed, collaboration with local artists and craftsmen was key. Many contributed sculptures and props that added unique touches to the set. From intricately designed creature models to vintage horror movie memorabilia displayed on shelves.

The format is familiar for those with long memories. A horror/sci-fi movie is shown, a guest is interviewed and letters to the cast are read. The whole shebang is created in a North Bay studio in Windsor, California that was built by Glenn Filshie.  Within this movie set was a replica of a Victorian mansion along with special effects.
